The Concepts Of SEO

Marketers know and know with some sobriety that as much as they want customers to have an easy time finding them, Google will make their websites findable based on the value their websites provide to consumers.

Non advanced searches are key to this problem, it’s everyone’s goal to be easier to find because that is where the money is, that is why everyone tries to be in the top rank in the search results on Google or Yahoo.

SEO services and technology are like beachcombers walking the miles of beaches scanning pebble after pebble in search of the rare fossil shark’s tooth or precious sea glass. Just a handful of any old beach won’t do if what you are looking for is precious and valuable, and Search engine optimization (SEO) is the Internet equivalent of the beachcomber, walking miles, walking for days, eyes always open for the rare but ever present treasure of the sea. You can walk the Internet yourself seeing what washes up, but if you do you will appreciate the value that experience and knowledge brings.

The SEO of any search engine reigns like a God, measuring out the fate of the people who code and who develop websites. Bad Gods can cause catastrophe; good Gods can rescue people from obscurity but none deny the enormous effect SEOs have on all of us today.

There are white hat and black hat services, and these operate just as you would imagine that they do. White services get a leg-up from search engines and the people who run them because they provide a useful service and improve the overall playing field. Black hats mess up the works, even for themselves in the long run. Their behavior may work in the short run — and that’s a “may” not a will — but they are sure to be failures in the long term.

Search Engine Optimization is about finding the best results, not the closest word match. The esoteric word for this concept is Latent Semantic indexing but it’s really a very simple concept. Like teenage girls, words move in packs and it’s to everyone’s advantage that, if you want to have a birthday present, a search for a reproduction t-shirt also searches for prices, brands, shop locations, fashion, reproduction, and other factors that matter. This just makes sense.
