Almost all the marketeer insists on writing articles. The main advantage is that it will be an easiest way to get one way links back to the site. I used to write articles often. I even have a software that enables automatic submission. When i search with my name in any of the search engines i can see a lot of articles are being lined up. I wonder what could the people who dislikes writing articles would do to get one way back links.
I always like the directories that has a PR in between 0 to 5. This helps me to gain more number of matches. Marketers claim that Google is the number one but i am very convenient to find more matches in search engines like AlltheWeb, MSN and Yahoo. I always target at the sites that have a greater PR than my site.
Commenting on blogs is a better option for people who hates to write blogs. One should always remember that blogs helps in attracting a lot of traffic if it is updated frequently. During last Christmas, i bought a tool called Comment Hut which makes me to search any blog using keywords and based on PR. Blogs are ideally better than using Google PR.
Considering the need for instant commenting, an automated software can be used to comment on the blog posts. But imagine what might will be the consequences if you are blocked as a spammer? you will lose a number of valuable visitors of your blog. Such software are not preferred. You can infer that all the comments that i posted on several sites will appear on the listing. Even if the Google search limits to a 500 matches, you can see the top most sites where i commented.
